Energy Savings
McQuay has two Best in Class, Industry-Leading chiller product lines that can significantly reduce your overall HVAC energy consumption for mission-critical applications: New Magnitude magnetic bearing, oil-free, water-cooled centrifugal chillers, up to 550 tons, have part-load efficiencies as low as 0.31 kw/ton. New Pathfinder air-cooled chillers, up to 530 tons, have EERs approaching 20.
Total Cost of Ownership
Your National Account Manager can work with you to significantly reduce your CAPEX and OPX costs, from initial project (or replacement) concept to end-of-equipment HVAC life after 20+ years. We can help you achieve your IRR hurdles and operational metrics through BIM modeling for engineering cost reductions and equipment maximization, and continuing through lower energy and maintenance costs
With our parent company, Daikin, McQuay can also provide VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) systems that greatly reduce overall construction, energy, and maintenance costs while providing a flexible, add-on feature to handle churn and growth.
McQuay’s Modular Chiller Plant also provide significant overall cost reductions compared to traditional “stick built” facilities.
Sustainability
McQuay can help you meet your sustainability goals through the use of HFC 134a and 410A refrigerants in our chillers, and ammonia in our JE Hall industrial compressor skid systems. Our Magnitude chillers use ZERO oil and hence there is no oil disposal. And both our Magnitude and Pathfinder chillers are significantly quieter than our competition which leads to a greater reduction in noise pollution.
Reliability
McQuay performs a factory run test on ever chiller we manufacturer before it is shipped to your site. In addition, McQuay is the industry leader in water-cooled, dual-compressor chiller technology (since 1970) which can provide N+1 redundancy via a single chiller.
